The wedding is iconic, but it is not the whole picture.
There's more to you... your favorite flannel shirts, your signature brew, your other favorite season.
What does love look like on a normal day? On a dinner date? In ten years, what will you miss most about this season?
We don't have to have a session to get to know each other before the wedding, but it is a fun time. And we don't have to book a wedding to have a fun session.

Your wedding day becomes an incredible memory that fades over time. We know that's why you are choosing to have amazing photos, but we are here to help you turn those beautiful images into archival quality heirloom products that will out last your memories.
Digital files are wasted on a hard drive and already obsolete on a USB. Your wedding images belong in a frame above eye level, in a (heavy) hand crafted album you can glide your fingers across, or tucked away as proofs in a box of treasures.
We invite you to see your images for the first time in a special presentation and then order your heirloom products for your home and parent gifts.

Your wedding day is a fully immersive experience. You do not have time to worry about your vendors doing their job. We have already developed a great working relationship, so you can be at ease.
I like to arrive early enough to introduce myself to family and get settled in with your arrangement of details (rings, stationery and jewelry). The first part of the day is the dance between finding the best light and the emotional moments that you'll cherish forever. I'll direct portraits throughout the day and make lots of space for you to enjoy your long awaited celebration.

Your wedding photography experience begins long before the camera clicks.
The year leading up to the wedding day is chock full of communication with helpful tools. We think it is imperative to collaborate on the timeline to make sure your vision for photography is not only realistic but can be executed with joy.
All of our clients have a private online portal to house documents for easy reference. We also include pre-wedding questionnaires for wedding day shot lists, publication stories, and album pre-design.
Planning

Portrait sessions are a great way to get comfortable interacting with the camera and exploring posing cues that work naturally for you both.
Engagement portraits are most popular if we are able to meet a few months ahead of the wedding. Pre-wedding sessions (including boudoir) are great for destination weddings with tighter timelines.
We'll schedule your session and your premiere appointment (to view and order prints and digital files) shortly after. This is a great time to use your included print credit for wall art, thank you cards, or surprise gifts.

When everything looks good, you click the link provided to move forward to the online booking package (proposal - contract - invoice).
Confirm your collection choice and enter your details on the proposal form. Review, initial and sign the contract. Pay the invoice. Done!
Important: The non-refundable retainer of 25% is required to secure your date.
With formalities out of the way, we can start having fun! Your client portal will house the "paperwork" as well the upcoming planning tools.

Finding the right wedding photographer is a little like speed dating. Just pass me your phone number on a napkin. (It took my husband ten months to take that step!)
I'll check date availability, and then we'll get on that first call to talk about your hopes and dreams... for your wedding, of course. And how do I fit into the plan?
Because I only take on a limited number of weddings per year, I have more time to listen to and serve my clients and their families. I will send over an outline of custom collections based on what I've learned about your plans.
